MINUTES OF THE MEETING
The Managing Committee of the Income Tax Gazetted Officers’ Association was held on 06-06-2013 at 6.00pm at its office premises. The following members were present:-

RESOLUTIONS
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY
It was resolved to place on record deep appreciation to Central Headquarters for their concrete efforts leading to recent ITO to ACIT promotions.
B) Transfer requests:
It was resolved to demand Central Headquarters to take up transfer grievance of members seriously. To ensure that those who have completed cooling off period be given transfer back to their Region. To take up educational and medical grounds also in this connection.
C) Review DPC of ITOs:
a. It was resolved to request the local administration to provide copies of CAT order, roaster, working of seniority of ITOs to ITGOA since its members are affected.
b. It was resolved to request the local administration to provide all details as requested by affected ITGOA members.
c. It was resolved to request the local administration to provide reasonable time after providing the details as above.
d. It was resolved to request the local administration to wait till cadre-restructure allocation of posts – for finalizing the seniority list of ITOs.
D) Regarding cadre-restructure, it was resolved that:
1) ITGOA, Karnataka & Goa unit expresses strong resentment about the miserable failure of the Central Headquarters to take timely steps, before approval of cabinet, on cadre restructuring of the department, in ensuring filling up of all vacancies by promotion and in one go.
2) ITGOA, Karnataka & Goa unit ,demands Central Headquarters to take all required steps immediately to set things right and ensure that promotions are given in one go as in other cadres and as was done in earlier cadre restructure in 2001. In the alternative, the Central Headquarters should take legal steps to bring stay on entire cadre restructuring immediately.
