ELECTION NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by
the Executive Body of ITGOA, Karnataka & Goa Unit on the undersigned, the Notification
for elections to the Executive Body of ITGOA, Karnataka & Goa Unit, for a
two year term i.e. 2014-15 is hereby issued. Nominations are invited from
members of ITGOA, Karnataka & Goa Unit for the following posts of Executive
Body of ITGOA, Karnataka & Goa Unit, for the said term:-

members, one post each is reserved for Administrative Officer, Sr. PS/P.S. and one lady member. Therefore, members desirous of contesting
for the post of E.C member under this category should specifically mention so.
Clearing of
up-to-date subscription is desired before contesting, proposing, seconding or
voting in the election.
ELECTION
SCHEDULE is appended to this Notification.
Nominations
will be received by the undersigned only, from the date of this Notification,
on all working days.
Last date for
submission of valid nomination form is 27-11-2013 (upto 1.00 PM). Nomination forms and withdrawal forms are available
on “http://www.itgoakargoa. blogspot.com/”. The
forms may also be obtained from the undersigned. The duly filled in nominations may be sent to
the undersigned at Room No. 205, II floor, C.R.Bldg., Queen’s Road, Bangalore 560
001, on any working day but not later than 1.00 pm on 27-11-2013.

members posted in Davanagere, Haveri, Chitradurga and Shimoga).
(4) Belgaum Office, (covering the members posted in Belgaum, Nippani, Gokak,
Bijapur & Bagalkot).
(5) Hubli Office, (covering the members posted in Hubli, Sirsi&Gadag).
(6) Panaji Office, (covering the
members posted in Panaji&Margoa.)
(7) Gulbarga Office, (covering the
members posted in Gulbarga, Bidar, Raichur, Bellary & Hospet).
All the officers who are members as on the date of
Notification of Elections are eligible to participate and contest in the
elections. All the promotee officers
working in Karnataka & Goa Unit in the cadres of Addl.CIT, JCIT, DCIT,
ACIT, ITO, Sr. PS, PS, AO, DD(Sys), DPA and ADOL, are members of ITGOA, Karnataka
& Goa Unit. The prescribed proforma which
are enclosed shall be used for filing nominations and withdrawals. The nominations and withdrawals should reach the
undersigned at No.205, II floor, C.R.Bldg., Queen’s Road, Bangalore, as per the
above schedule.
Nominations
and withdrawals sent through Fax or e-mail and received after the schedule date
and time above, are not valid.
Nominations shall be signed in blue ink
by the Contestant, Proposer and Seconder. The proposer and the seconder shall
be members of ITGOA, Karnataka & Goa Unit. The proposer and the seconder
shall not propose or second more than one contestant for the same post. Incomplete
nominations will be rejected at the discretion of the Election Commissioner.
The Election Commissioner reserves the right to appoint one
or more Assistant Election Commissioners at the election venues, at his
discretion to ensure a free and fair election.
